Avocados are good to eat and good for your skin!
I think avocados are the most delicious little gems. They are super creamy and packed with Vitamins E and C. They always satisfy my craving for something velvety and sinful. I have been making this simple guacamole recipe for years and it seems like every time I make it someone becomes a fan. I think the key is how much love you put into your food when you make it! Love makes it taste better. I also like food that you can use in different ways too.
Did you know that you can take 1/2 medium ripe avocado, 1 tbsp. all natural honey, 1 tbsp. all natural yogurt and mix it up and apply it to your face for a moisturizing facemask?
I want you to make the guacamole, but hold back a half an avocado, mix up a mask, grab a couple slices of cucumber for your eyes, and a refreshing icy Margarita. Relax for a minute. Take some time for yourself; nourish your skin and your soul with these two great avocado recipes that are sure to put a smile on your face.
Guacamole
Serves 4-6
5-Ripe Avocados

Remove pulp from avocados and mash in a bowl. Chop the tomato and add to the mashed avocado. Crush the garlic, and finely chop and add the onions. Add the lime juice and salt and mix everything together. Let the flavors marry for a bit, then serve.
Baked Pita Chips, delicious and different!
You'll need something sturdy and tasty to hold up to the guacamole. Instead of the typical tortilla chip, try making these delicious baked pita chips. The great thing about this recipe is that you can use whatever herbs and spices that you want and change the recipe to whatever you like. You can even make them sweet instead of savory and toss them with cinnamon and sugar! They taste wonderful and they bring
something different to the table.
Baked Pita Chips
Makes as many as you like
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
