Applaud Women Partners with Women’s Business Center and Women Supporting Women to Present the Networking Event of the Fall
Season.
Applaud Women celebrates the launch of its new website with a party, networking and retail therapy event.
Raymond, NH, September 9, 2009 - Celebrating going green has never been more fun.
In an effort to go along with the recent national trend of going green, Applaud Women has decided to not only establish a presence on the
internet, but to celebrate this new arrival in style by throwing a launch party. This event will be among the biggest and best of the season,
already boasting over 70 RSVPs, and this number is growing rapidly. However, it wouldn’t be in true Applaud style if we were just promoting
ourselves: therefore, we are turning our party into a fabulous networking and retail event so that other New Hampshire and northern
Massachusetts women can promote their businesses as well in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
“This won’t be like your typical networking event.” says Susan. “We want to make this as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. We will have
ten vendor tables with upscale gift items so that our attendees can network while they are buying items, whether they are for themselves or
for early Christmas gifts. We will also have Chair and Hand massages available as well as cosmetic makeovers. We’re also hoping to have
some fashions being modeled. Everyone is encouraged to bring their wallets and their marketing materials. This will definitely be a unique
event.”
Since 2002, Applaud Women has been informing, inspiring, and applauding women in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. We grew from a
smaller 16-page publication to a full-scale 80-page magazine, and now, in keeping with the current trend to move to the web, we are
expanding into even greater territory by making our mark in the world of cyberspace. With the limitless possibilities the internet has to offer,
not only will this be a growing experience for us, it gives us a chance to provide you, our valued readers, with more of the information, links,
and resources that you have come to trust us with over the past seven years. With this expansion, we will be able to provide you with
everything in one place in an easily-accessible manner.
Owner and publisher Susan Caldwell states, “My passion has always been to applaud those women who have achieved success and inspire
others to find and follow their dreams. We want to celebrate all that we are doing, but we also want to offer other women to promote
themselves as well, all while having a great time together.”
The event itself will take place on Thursday, October 1st, 2009from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Freetown Yankee Farmstand Steakhouse
Restaurant, located on Rte. 27 in Raymond, NH. There will be local vendors present selling unique items, as well as chair massages, hand
massages, and cosmetic makeovers. Admission is free if an RSVP is received before the event; otherwise, the cost is $5 at the door.
Sponsorship is available. If you are interested in having your business represented at the event, $50 reserves a table with selling space and
room for a poster. Space is limited, so please call Susan at (603) 895-4699, or email us at applaud@comcast.net at your earliest
convenience. We have a number of businesses providing door prizes. Applaud Women will be throwing ten webpage business listings to the
hat. Cheese & crackers and veggies with dips will be provided. There will also be a cash bar.
