The Applaud Women publication is dedicated to women in New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. It's purpose is to inspire, inform, and
applaud local women. The core of the magazine is our inspirational women's articles, most of which feature local women but occasionally we are
able to interview national women who we feel provide a unique inspiration for our readers. Our other articles cover topics of interest such as food
recipes, home, garden, beauty, health, fashion, dating, parenting, seniors, finance, business, hair care, skin care, advice, real estate, insurance,
weddings etc. Each issue has a feature section as well. Many of our articles are written by local business people who provide information
relevant to their business expertise. The Applaud Women website is also a resource center for local women including the most comprehensive
listings of Restaurants, Weddings, Female doctors and Hotels. It also includes a number of informational pages with links, articles and RSS feeds
to both local and national websites of interest to women in NH & n. MA.

What Do Your Dreams Really Mean?
A Close-Up Look On How To Interpret Your Dreams
By CC The Huntress
Have you ever had a dream that you couldn’t explain? Or you felt that your dreams were somehow a message from the spirit world? I frequently
get questions asking me to interpret dreams in my line of work.

You see, I am a Paranormal Specialist / Ghost Hunter and dreams are a big part of the paranormal realm I work in. Our dreams can be quite
pleasurable and then again, they can be extremely disturbing.

Before I delve into deciphering dreams, I must address the scientific aspect of the medical conditions that can raise havoc in our dream world.

The things that cause sleep disorders are usually insomnia, sleep apnea, health related problems such as Parkinson’s Disease, cancer, and
stress. And there are many more, far too many to mention in this article. A health condition and the taking of medication can cause the wildest
dreams for no apparent reason and can be classified as a form of sleep disorder. Thirty eight percent (38%) of our total general middle aged
population have a form of sleep disorder verses only .05% of our elderly population. Overweight men over 50 years of age suffer more frequently
from sleep disorders than their women counterparts, but it must be noted that a sleep disorder can occur at any age regardless whether you are
a man or a woman. This is why being healthy and having a good night’s sleep is essential to our longevity and pleasant dream experiences.

Now I have brought to light sleep disorders and the medical conditions that surround them, we can focus on the types of dreams that people
have. There are Life Style Dreams which often reflect your life in different stages of transition, such as losing a job or divorce. Knowledge Dreams
are where you get knowledge from your dreams; it was said that Edison invented the light bulb with the help of a dream. Health Dreams can alert
you to unknown health conditions such as breast cancer. Future Dreams come in two categories:  Unchangeable Future Dreams and
Changeable Future Dreams. Lincoln had a dream of his death two weeks before he died – this is an Unchangeable Dream. A perfect example of
a Changeable Dream would be if a few passengers of the Titanic had a dream not to buy their passage or not to get on the ship, therefore
changing their future outcome. Psychological Dreams are when our minds try to provide us with the right dreams at the right time. Let’s say we did
something morally wrong – our dreams may play out with feeling a lot of the guilt involved. Dreams of deceased relatives are self explanatory…we
miss our loved ones that have passed away. Dreams can have colors, symbols, sounds and smells, all of which can represent factors in
interpreting your dreams. I do not like books that state what a color means or a symbol means in dreams. We are all different and what means
something to one of us means nothing to another. Each dream is unique and on its own for each person and should be treated as such.

OK, we’ve got the types of dream down, so let’s start interpreting. You have got to remember that dreams are based on our lives, everyday
happenings and of course the spirit world, but they don’t always seem that way. First off, write your dream down as soon as you wake up,
including the colors and symbols. Put your dream into one of the dream categories I mentioned above. For instance, if you dreamed about
moving and you recently lost your job, you would place your dream in the Life Dream category. Analyze honestly what is going on in your life and
then look at your dream again. Is it reflective in a misshapen way? As you get accustomed to writing down your dreams you will start to see a
pattern emerge. The pattern with colors for instance – if you are dreaming about a blue cloud and after your dream you find money, and you do
this each time, then it’s safe to assume that a blue cloud is associated with finding money! A blue cloud for someone else could mean they are
going to get a headache the next day. Keep track of your dreams and look closely at your life. They will parallel. The pattern emerging is key to
interpreting dreams. With practice you can interpret not only your dreams, but that of the dreams of your friends and family.

Now dreams from the spirit world are a whole different element. They can be reassuring. Like the smile of your deceased grandmother. And then
they can be disconcerting like a devil chasing you and trying to posses you. I will stop at this point and urge you to contact me with dream
interpretations from the other side. They can be tricky and it is best to consult an expert:  ccthehuntress@yahoo.com.
